UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the Examination Notice (No. 08/2026-CAPF) for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2026. Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026):
Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 25 Years
Candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 2001 and not later than 1st August 2006.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), Civilian Central Government Servants & Ex-Servicemen (5 Years).
2. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor''s degree from a recognized University or possess an equivalent qualification.
Desirable: Possession of an NCC ''B'' or ''C'' Certificate will be considered at the time of the Interview/Personality Test.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in the following stages:
Written Examination: Comprises two papers to be held on 19th July 2026.
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence (250 Marks) - Objective Type.
Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension (200 Marks) - Descriptive Type.
Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) & Medical Standards Tests: Candidates qualifying the written exam will undergo PET (100m/800m race, Long Jump, Shot Put) and medical evaluations.
Interview / Personality Test: Carries 150 Marks.
Final Merit List: Based on combined marks obtained in the Written Exam and Interview.
