Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB) Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 1000 Local Bank Officer (LBO) Posts
Quick Analysis
Punjab & Sind Bank has launched a massive lateral recruitment drive for 1000 Local Bank Officers (JMGS-I), making it a strong opportunity specifically for candidates already working in the banking sector, as 18 months of officer-level experience in SCB/RRB is mandatory, which filters out freshers and makes competition more niche; the role also introduces a unique state-specific recruitment model where candidates must apply for only one state and prove local language proficiency, adding an extra eligibility layer, while the selection process remains standard with online test + interview + language test, and candidates benefit from a solid banking career path with extra increments at joining, though they must consider the ₹850 application fee and a 3-year service bond requirement.
