NIC Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 153 Scientist-C & Scientist-D Posts
Quick Analysis
NIC has released a high-level Group-A recruitment for 153 Scientist-C and Scientist-D posts, offering premium government tech roles with salaries up to Level-12, but unlike fresher-focused jobs, this recruitment strictly targets experienced professionals with mandatory 4–8 years of post-qualification experience, making it ideal for mid-career engineers and IT specialists; the selection process is rigorous and multi-layered with a qualifying online screening test → detailed academic/experience evaluation (major weightage) → interview, meaning your profile strength (experience, projects, GATE, publications) plays a bigger role than just exam performance, and with no application fee for women and reserved categories, this becomes a highly attractive opportunity for skilled professionals aiming for stable, high-paying government tech careers in India and abroad.
