India Government Mint Recruitment 2026: India Government Mint (IGM), Noida, acting as the nodal agency for Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) — a Miniratna Category-I CPSE wholly owned by the Government of India — has published Recruitment Advertisement No. 01/2026. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up 94 vacancies across various IGMs located in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Noida.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 27.04.2026):

• Supervisor Posts (S1): 18 to 30 Years.

• Engraver, Jr Office/Bullion Assistant, Jr Hindi Typist, Lab Assistant (B4/B3): 18 to 28 Years.

• Junior Technician (W1): 18 to 25 Years.

• Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-NCL (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years for UR/EWS, 13 for OBC, 15 for SC/ST).

2. Educational Qualification:

• Supervisor (Technical): 1st class full-time Diploma in respective Engineering discipline (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Metallurgy) OR B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc (Engg) in the respective field.

• Engraver: Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture/Metal Works) with at least 55% marks.

• Junior Office Assistant / Junior Bullion Assistant: Graduate in any discipline with computer knowledge and typing speed of English @40 w.p.m. or Hindi @30 w.p.m.

• Junior Hindi Typist: Graduate in any discipline with Hindi typing speed @30 w.p.m.

• Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc. with Chemistry as a Major Subject with at least 55% marks.

• Junior Technician (Various Trades): Full-time ITI certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in the respective trade (Fitter / Turner / Electrician / Chemical Plant / Carpentry / Foundry).

Selection Process

The selection process varies depending on the applied post:

• Supervisors, Engraver, Lab Assistant & Technicians: Selection will be entirely based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of General Aptitude and Technical/Professional Knowledge sections. There is NO negative marking and no personal interview.

• Junior Office Assistant, Jr Bullion Assistant & Jr Hindi Typist: Candidates will first appear for a CBT. Those who qualify will be called for a Computer Typing Test (Qualifying in nature). Final merit will be based on CBT marks.

• A minimum qualifying marks criteria applies: 55% for General/EWS, 50% for OBC, and 45% for SC/ST.
