SBI CBO Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of 2,273 Circle Based Officers (CBO). This is a golden opportunity for experienced banking professionals to join India's largest public sector bank. The application process is entirely online and closes on 18th February 2026.

Circle-Wise Vacancy Details

The recruitment includes 2,050 Regular vacancies and 223 Backlog vacancies across various circles.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 31.12.2025)

• Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. (Medical, Engineering, CA, Cost Accountant graduates are also eligible).

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience (as on 31.12.2025) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank.

• Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the local language of the applied circle.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).

• Basic Pay: ₹48,480/- per month.

• Pay Scale: 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.

• Allowances: DA, HRA, City Compensatory Allowance, PF, Pension (NPS), Medical Facility, etc.

Selection Process

1. Online Test: Objective (120 Marks) + Descriptive (50 Marks).

2. Screening: Verification of experience and job profile suitability.

3. Interview: 50 Marks.
