PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of 5138 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a great opportunity for graduates to gain one year of training in the banking sector with a stipend.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026):

• Minimum: 20 Years

• Maximum: 28 Years

• Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years).

2. Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

• Proficiency in the Local Language (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Understanding) of the applied State/UT is mandatory.

Stipend

Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of one year:

• Rural / Semi-Urban / Urban Branches: ₹ 12,300/- per month

• Metro Branches: ₹ 15,000/- per month

Selection Process

• Online Written Test: (General/Financial Awareness, English, Quant & Reasoning, Computer Knowledge).

• Test of Local Language: Conducted during document verification (Candidates with 10th/12th mark sheet showing the local language are exempt).

• Medical Examination: Candidates must be declared medically fit.
