NPCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a premier Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released an official notification (Advt No. RR Site/HRM/Apprentice/01/2026) for the engagement of Trade Apprentices at the Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site. Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for 245 Trade Apprentice slots under The Apprentices Act, 1961.

Vacancy Details

A total of 245 vacancies are available across various ITI trades. The trade-wise distribution is as follows:

Note: Out of the total, 09 vacancies are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Important Dates

• Opening Date for Submission of Online Application: 26th February 2026 (10:00 Hrs)

• Closing Date for Submission of Online Application: 18th March 2026 (16:00 Hrs)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 18.03.2026):

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 24 Years

• Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-NCL (3 Years), PwBD General/EWS (10 Years), PwBD SC/ST (15 Years), PwBD OBC (13 Years).

2. Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have a completed ITI Pass Certificate in the respective Trade (Full-time/Regular course).

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under The Apprenticeship Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply.

Stipend

The selected candidates will be engaged for a training period of 1 year and will receive a monthly stipend of ₹ 9,600/-.

Selection Process

• Merit-Based Selection: The selection will be based purely on the percentage of marks secured by the candidates in their respective ITI trade.

• Tie-Breaking Rule: In case of a tie in ITI marks, the candidate born earlier will be considered. If the Date of Birth is also the same, the candidate with a higher percentage in 10th/8th standard (8th class only for Welder trade) will be placed higher.

• Local Preference: Preference will be given to eligible local candidates living within a 16 km radius of the Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site.

• Document Verification & Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to successful document verification, police verification, and medical fitness.

How to Apply

• Step 1: Interested candidates must first register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 (NAPS 2.0) web portal: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

• Step 2: Ensure that your Aadhaar Number is seeded with your Bank Account.

• Step 3: Apply through the Establishment Registration No. E08160800007 (Establishment ID for Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, NPCIL) on the NAPS portal.

• Step 4: After NAPS registration, candidates must visit the NPCIL Careers website www.npcilcareers.co.in and submit the detailed online application form.

• Step 5: Upload scanned images of a recent photograph and signature in JPEG format as per the specified dimensions.

• Step 6: Submit the application before 16:00 Hrs on 18.03.2026 and take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
