Nagaland University Recruitment 2026: Nagaland University (A Central University) has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 inviting online applications for various Teaching posts. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for 31 vacancies for the roles of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor across multiple departments through the CU CHAYAN portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Publications for the various Teaching Posts shall be applicable as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2018 / NCTE Regulations 2014 / AICTE Regulations / ICAR Guidelines (as the case may be) as amended from time to time.

• Assistant Professor: Master''s Degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.

• Associate Professor: Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree, Master''s Degree with at least 55% marks, minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience, and required research publications.

• Professor: An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree, minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience, and high-quality published work.

Note: A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master''s level for SC/ST/Differently-abled/OBC (Non-creamy layer) categories for the purpose of eligibility.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: The University shall have the right to restrict the number of candidates for interviews based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed.

• Personal Interview: Selection will be made on the basis of a Personal Interview conducted by the Selection Committee.

• Document Verification: Verification of original antecedents, NOCs, and educational documents.

• Candidates must submit their applications online through the CU CHAYAN portal at www.curec.samarth.ac.in.

• Select "Nagaland University" and the desired post to apply.

• Register, fill in the required personal and academic details, and upload scanned copies of original certificates and mark sheets from Matriculation onwards.

• Pay the requisite application fee via the online payment gateway.

• Submit the form before the deadline of 05th April 2026 (11:59 PM).

• Separate applications and fees are required if a candidate intends to apply for more than one post.
