MECON Limited Recruitment 2026: MECON Limited, a Premier Miniratna, Schedule "A", Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, has released Advertisement No. 11.73.4.3/2026/Reg/01. Online applications are invited from committed, result-oriented, suitably qualified, and highly experienced individuals for 44 vacancies of Junior Engineers and Junior Officers in the regular scale of pay.

Vacancy Details & Pay Scale

A total of 44 vacancies have been announced in the E-0 Grade. All selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 30,000 - 3% - 1,20,000/-. The post-wise breakdown is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 02.02.2026):

• Maximum Age for all posts (E-0 Grade): 50 Years.

• Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-NCL (3 Years), PwD (10 to 15 Years based on category). Furthermore, 1 year of age relaxation will be provided for every 1 year of additional experience (limited to a maximum of 3 years). The maximum age shall not exceed 52 years.

2. Educational Qualification & Experience (Minimum 16 Years Required):

• Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. For Post Code 02, NDT Level-2 Certification is also required. Minimum 16 years of post-qualification experience in Hydrocarbon industry construction/supervision.

• Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering + Minimum 16 years of experience in Design/Site Supervision for Building/Industrial/Hydrocarbon projects.

• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering + Minimum 16 years of experience in Design/Construction of Electrical works.

• Junior Officer (HR / Admin): BBA / Graduate in any degree + Minimum 16 years of post-qualification experience in HR/Administrative work.

• The mode of selection shall be a Personal Interview of the provisionally shortlisted candidates.

• Shortlisting will be based on the scrutiny of applications against the information, declaration, and supporting documents provided by the candidate regarding their qualifications and extensive 16-year work experience.

• Candidates will be subjected to Medical Examination before appointment.
