HPCL Recruitment 2026: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Government of India Enterprise, has invited online applications from eligible Engineering Graduates for engagement as Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The engagement will be for a period of one year for the batch of 2026-27 at various locations spread across India.

HPCL is offering a total of 608 training slots across various states. The apprentices will be engaged in the following Engineering disciplines:

• Civil Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Instrumentation Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 02.03.2026):

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 25 Years

• Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-NC (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years).

2. Educational Qualification:

• Engineering Graduation in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

• Candidates must have completed their Engineering Graduation on or after 01-04-2023. Candidates who passed prior to this date are not eligible.

• Candidates who have got work experience of one year or more or who are currently undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere are NOT eligible.

Monthly Stipend

Selected Graduate Apprentice Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of ₹ 25,000/- (₹ 20,500 will be paid by HPCL & ₹ 4,500 will be directly paid by GOI as per DBT scheme).

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Candidates will be screened and shortlisted based on the merit percentage (marks) obtained in their qualifying degree.

• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification in a ratio of 1:5 against the notified training slots.

• Medical Clearance & Contract: Final engagement is subject to clearing police verification, submission of a medical fitness certificate, and signing the tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS portal.

• Candidates must first be registered and approved on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) web portal.

• Visit the HPCL recruitment portal at jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp.

• Sign up for New Registration and obtain login credentials on your registered email.

• Login and fill out the detailed application form, selecting the preferred State of Training.

• Upload a recent passport-sized photograph and signature.

• Submit the application and note down the HPCL Application Number received via email.
