1. Age Limit (As on 25.03.2026):

  • Legal Assistant: Up to 30 years (18-35 years for DTC).

  • Legal Assistant: Degree in Law with 1 to 3 years of required experience as a legal practitioner / Govt. department.

  • Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

  • Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience.

  • Grade-II / ASO: Bachelor''s Degree from a recognized University / Institute (Computer proficiency desirable/essential for some departments).

Selection Process & Exam Scheme

  • One Tier (Technical): For AE (Civil) & JE (Civil) posts. The exam consists of Section-A (General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi, English - 100 marks) and Section-B (Domain Subject - 100/200 marks).

  • Two Tier (Technical & General): For Legal Assistant & Grade-II/ASO. Includes Tier-I (Qualifying) and Tier-II (Subject specific / Descriptive like Essay and Letter writing).

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in 1-mark questions, and 0.50 marks in 2-mark questions.
