DSSSB Recruitment 2026: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Vacancy Notice / Advertisement No. 01/2026 for Combined Examinations 2026. Online applications are invited for the recruitment of 911 vacancies for the posts of Legal Assistant, Assistant Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Civil), and Grade-II (GNCTDSS) / Assistant Section Officer across various departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi / Autonomous / Local bodies.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 25.03.2026):

• Legal Assistant: Up to 30 years (18-35 years for DTC).

• AE (Civil) / JE (Civil): 18 to 30/32 years (depending on the department).

• Grade-II / ASO: 21 to 30 years / Up to 30 years.

• Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-Delhi (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years), Dept. Candidates/ESM as per Govt of NCT of Delhi norms.

2. Educational Qualification:

• Legal Assistant: Degree in Law with 1 to 3 years of required experience as a legal practitioner / Govt. department.

• Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience.

• Grade-II / ASO: Bachelor''s Degree from a recognized University / Institute (Computer proficiency desirable/essential for some departments).

Application Fee

Selection Process & Exam Scheme

• One Tier (Technical): For AE (Civil) & JE (Civil) posts. The exam consists of Section-A (General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi, English - 100 marks) and Section-B (Domain Subject - 100/200 marks).

• Two Tier (Technical & General): For Legal Assistant & Grade-II/ASO. Includes Tier-I (Qualifying) and Tier-II (Subject specific / Descriptive like Essay and Letter writing).

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in 1-mark questions, and 0.50 marks in 2-mark questions.

How to Apply

• Candidates must first register on the OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in (Registration is a one-time exercise).

• Login using the registration credentials and navigate to the current openings.

• Select the desired post (Legal Assistant, AE, JE, or ASO).

• Fill out the application form carefully and upload the required scanned documents (Photo, Signature).

• Pay the application fee of ₹ 100/- (if applicable) through SBI e-Pay.

• Submit the application before 11:59 PM on 25.03.2026 and take a printout for future reference.
