BEL Recruitment 2026: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna Company and India''s premier professional electronics company under the Ministry of Defence, has released Advertisement No. 383/FTE/CS/REC/2026. Applications are invited for the recruitment of 35 Deputy Engineer posts on a Fixed Tenure Basis for its Central Services Division of the Bengaluru Complex.

Vacancy Details & Pay Scale

A total of 35 vacancies have been announced for the post of Deputy Engineer (E-II grade). The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹ 40,000 - 3% - 1,40,000/-. The discipline-wise breakdown is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 01.03.2026):

• Upper Age Limit for General/EWS candidates: 32 Years.

• Age Relaxation: OBC-NCL (3 Years), SC/ST (5 Years), PwBD (10 Years) as per Govt. guidelines.

2. Educational Qualification:

• Civil Engineering: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg in Civil Engineering.

• Architecture: B.Arch.

• Horticulture: M.Sc. in Horticulture.

• Note: Candidates must possess First Class for General/OBC/EWS and Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates from AICTE approved Colleges/Institutions or recognized Universities.

3. Work Experience (As on 01.03.2026):

• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification industry experience. Note that teaching/academic/research work will not be considered as relevant experience.

Tenure of Engagement

The engagement will be initially for a period of 3 years, which may be extended by 1 year (maximum tenure of 4 years) based on project requirements and candidate performance.

Selection Process

The selection will be purely on the basis of merit. The process includes:

• Written Test: Carries a weightage of 85 Marks. Candidates must secure a minimum of 35% (General/OBC/EWS) or 30% (SC/ST/PwBD) to qualify.

• Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the Written Test (in the ratio of 1:5) will be called for an Interview. It carries a weightage of 15 Marks.

• Final Merit: Will be based on the combined score of the Written Test and Interview (Total 100 Marks).
