APSSB CGL Recruitment 2026: The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has released the recruitment notice (Advertisement No. 03/2026) for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026. Online applications are invited from eligible graduates for the recruitment of Group ''C'' posts, including Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Personal Assistant (Stenographer Gr-III), and Librarian across various state government departments.

A total of 154 vacancies have been announced under the APSSB CGL Exam 2026. All posts fall under the Pay Matrix Level-5 (₹ 29,200/- to ₹ 92,300/-). The post-wise distribution is as follows:

Important Dates

• Opening Date of Online Application: 24th March 2026 (10:00 AM)

• Closing Date of Online Application: 16th April 2026 (03:00 PM)

• Tentative Date of Stenography Proficiency Test (Post Code 12/26): 4th week of April 2026

• Tentative Date of Written Examination: 31st May 2026 (Sunday)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 16.04.2026):

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 35 Years

• Age Relaxation: Up to 05 years for APST candidates and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates (15 years for PwBD APST).

2. Educational Qualification:

• Personal Assistant (Stenographer Gr-III): Bachelor''s Degree from a recognized university + Diploma in Stenography from a recognized institution.

• Librarian: Bachelor''s Degree from a recognized university with Degree/Diploma in Library Science.

• Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Bachelor''s Degree from a recognized university + Minimum 6 (Six) months Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Board/Institution duly recognized by the Arunachal Pradesh Council for Technical Education/AICTE.

Selection Process & Exam Scheme

• Stage-1 (Stenography Proficiency Test): Applicable ONLY for Post Code 12/26 (Personal Assistant). It will be a qualifying test consisting of 5 minutes dictation @ 80 wpm and 45 minutes of transcription on a computer. Candidates who qualify will proceed to Stage-2.

• Stage-2 (Written Examination): For all posts (UDC, Librarian, PA). It will be an Objective Type Multiple Choice test comprising 200 marks (Duration: 2 Hours).

  • Test of English Language and Comprehension (50 Marks)

• Qualifying Marks: A candidate must secure a minimum of 33% aggregate marks in the Written Examination. There is NO sectional cut-off and NO negative marking.

• Register, fill out the form carefully, and indicate preferences for the posts and departments.

• Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and Diploma in Stenography (if applying for the PA post).

• Pay the examination fee online.

• Submit the form before 16.04.2026 (03:00 PM) and take a printout for future reference during Document Verification.
